“ Don’t judge a book by its cover, because once you enter the front door you’re transported into a clean, updated really cozy restaurant. The walls are filled with old photos of Cedar Lake, trophy fish, antiques and nice decor. The service was excellent with attentive staff eager to please and serve you. The restaurant was very clean and updated. I had the Low Carb plate filled with grilled chicken breast, pickles, hard boiled egg, cottage cheese and a fresh vegetables. I couldn’t eat it all. The prices are excellent and very fair for the large portions. We also tried the classic French Dip which was reported to be very good. Next time you see the sign, check it out, you won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend Harry O’s in Cedar Lake. ”
“ Went to a funeral luncheon today. There were art least 75 guests. The accommodations were excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food served was soup, salad, fried chicken, beef, fried cod, garlic mashed potatoes, vegetables mix and peppermint ice cream as dessert. Food was excellent and plenty of it. They were not tight with the food and if we asked for a refill, they were happy to serve it. I can't say enough about what an excellent luncheon it was. I would recommend HarryO's anytime. Excellent!!! ”
“ The food is amazing. It’s a quick and VERY INEXPENSIVE idea for breakfast lunch or dinner. I highly recommend all steak, chops, fish, Italian dishes like chicken parmesan, & fried chicken. They have a bar for cocktails and beer and the best server is Cheryl, ask for her! ”
“ Service was good. The food was good. I recommend trying the lemon rice soup, even my baby enjoyed it. We tried mozzarella sticks and jalapeño poppers. Both were good. The jalapeño poppers were very mild, and could have been more spicy. My children had chicken tenders and macaroni. I feel like both were overpriced. The macaroni was like Kraft, but had a different taste. My children didnt take more than 3 bites. My wrap was missing the bacon, but other than that everything was good. The staff was friendly. The atmosphere is very... old. The lights are dim. The walls, floor, and decor are all dark. It gives a very... outdated feel. ”
“ We had a small family reunion with 21 people. Nancy was our waitress and we all raved about her! She did it all pretty much by herself (except cooking of course) she was wonderful. Patient and on top of everything! We were all happy with our food, especially the ones who had perch or salmon. She kept bringing drink refills. Give her a raise!! ”
